Artist and musician Hagai Mishan, from the duo Hagai and Harel, launches a unique performance of the confessional songs 'Hatov' and 'Vailo Pino', accompanied by a special music video.
Hagai says about the song: "For we have always hoped in you... and we are not enough... Confession to God is a constant state, 'To sing before you every day always..', 'For you are beautiful... forever and ever, song and praise..', 'As long as the soul within me gives thanks,' 'All psalms are in vain, and a psalm of thanksgiving is not in vain...'"
Confession is not just during prayer or saying thanks, it is a constant state of mind. Gratitude is recognition, it is awareness of goodness. And when a person is in such a place of mind, he sees everything as part of the general goodness. 'For everything, O Lord our God, we thank you...''
""We do not ignore the pain, the evil, but we know that everything leads to good even when we do not understand, and in any case we look at the world with good, we see people with good and ourselves with good. 'And the merciful, for your loving-kindnesses never end, for we have always hoped in you...' What are the loving-kindnesses? That we have always hoped in you. That you have planted in us the longings, the knowledge that you are good, that you have mercy, and even when we do not feel the good - we hope... because it is eternal because even if our mouths are full... we are not enough... this goodness is higher than us, much deeper than our understanding.".
