The Israel Hayom group announces today (Tuesday) a new appointment in the editorial team: Yaakov Hershkowitz will be appointed reporter for the Haredi sector.
Hershkowitz, 21, is a graduate of the Sanz Hasidic institutions in Kiryat Sanz in Netanya.
Before his military service, he worked for ultra-Orthodox news channels and social media. At the age of 18, he enlisted in Netzach Yehuda, and in the Iron Swords War, he fought in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

He was recently discharged from the IDF.
Yaakov Hershkowitz: "I am excited to cover the hottest topic in the State of Israel - the Haredi sector, to bring the story of the people, places and beliefs that make up the Haredi political mosaic.
