Maran HaGaradan Lando will take off tomorrow morning (Sunday), to continue his journeys to save the world of Torah in the Holy Land, by establishing and strengthening the 'World of Torah Fund' - which has already distributed hundreds of millions of shekels to yeshivas and kollels in the past year.
In the current lightning trip, which will last a day and a half, the Rosh Yeshiva, along with Torah and Hasidic luminaries, will visit Switzerland, during which he will visit the cities of Zurich and Geneva, where meetings with benefactors and rallies for the entire Torah community will be held.
The Grat "D" Lando is accompanied on this current journey by yeshivot leaders and rebbes - including the Rebbe of Rakhmastryvka, the Gaon Rabbi Shimon Galai, the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Salim, the Gaon Rabbi Baruch Soloveitchik, and the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Hebroni.
Upon arriving in Zurich at noon today, the members of the delegation will participate in a number of meetings held at the homes of governors who have pledged to donate decent sums to the 'World Torah Fund', and towards evening, a gathering will be held for all of the city's ultra-Orthodox residents.
The next day, the delegation will continue to Geneva, where they will hold several meetings with governors who have raised donations for the World Torah Fund. A mass rally will then be held, which will also be attended by crowds of Jews from France - from the cities of Aix-les-Bains and Lyon, which are not particularly far from Geneva and have large Jewish communities.
On the night between Monday and Tuesday, the Rosh Yeshiva will set out on his way back to the Holy Land.
