The Iranian newspaper "Jomhuri-e-Islami," affiliated with the ayatollah regime and published under the supervision of the representative of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, published an unusual analysis this morning (Sunday), in which it described Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7 as "a serious strategic mistake that led to a series of disasters in the Muslim world.".

The article, quoted in 'Kan News', states: "Although the recently signed ceasefire agreement in Gaza brings human relief - the war has caused enormous destruction in the Gaza Strip, the deaths of tens of thousands, and a fatal blow to the Iranian resistance axis.".

The article claims that the two-year campaign resulted in "the loss of influence of Tehran's allies" - with the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon, the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria, and heavy losses for the Houthis in Yemen.

Iran, it was written, also suffered hundreds of deaths, including scientists and officers.

The newspaper warns that "although Israel has not achieved its military goals, it is now trying to achieve them through the agreement.".

The article concludes that “there is no winner in the Gaza war – all sides, and especially the Muslim world, emerged as losers.”.
