Former Minister Yoaz Hendel announced today (Thursday) that he has registered his new party, "The Reservists," in the party registry and that it will run in the next elections in 2026.
The party is made up of reservist servicemen and women, reservist families, IDF wounded, bereaved families, and civilian volunteers. Its founders include prominent figures in the servicemen's organizations' struggle against the draft evasion law and in activities for conscription for all.
The party's founders say that they will deal with principles and not political boycotts, which they claim have prevented the Zionist forces from cooperating so far and were, among other things, one of the factors that led us to the October 7th uprising.
The principles that will be required, even before the government is formed:
The Reservists Party: "On October 7, the state disappeared, and those who have led it since then are the reservists, whether in uniform or as civilians. We stand at the front because there are no others, we lead the struggle for service to everyone in the Knesset because there are no others, and we stand for the political mission because there are no others.".
""The reservists are coming to impose a reconstruction on the political system. Those responsible for the October coup should go home, and those who took responsibility that day and since then should take control of the centers of power and lead the country.".
