After the approval of the appointment of the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff, Tzachi Braverman, to the position of Israel's ambassador to London: Netanyahu is examining who will replace him in the most senior position in his office.
According to a report today (Thursday) on Network B, this is the list of candidates being considered:
• Roy Kahlon - Head of the Headquarters for Combating Crime in Arab Society who served as Acting Civil Service Commissioner
• Yossi Fox - current government secretary
• Lior Katsav - brother of convicted President Moshe Katsav and a Likud member
• Nevo Katz - Advisor to the Prime Minister for Knesset Affairs
• Iki Cohen - Likud member who served in a variety of political positions
It should be noted that the list is not final.
In any case, the decision is expected to be made soon in accordance with the final decision on the appointment of Braverman as ambassador to London - a decision that still requires government approval and depends on the Attorney General's decision regarding the investigation file pending against him, after he was suspected of changing an official protocol from October 7, 2023 without authority.
