The Chief Rabbis toast to the New Year at the Police College in Beit Shemesh

The Chief Rabbis of Israel, the Rishon LeZion, Rabbi David Yosef and Rabbi Kalman Meir Bar, participated in a toast to the New Year at the Police College in Beit Shemesh.

The ceremony was attended by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Police Commissioner Danny Levy, Deputy Police Commissioner Avshalom Peled, Chief Rabbi of the Israel Police Rabbi Rami Barachihau, and other senior officers.

Rishon LeZion Rabbi David Yosef: "The mission of the police is a sacred task. You stand at the forefront of protecting the people of Israel and the Land of Israel with unparalleled dedication. May you be blessed with a year of protection and success in all your endeavors.""

Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Kalman Meir Bar: "Every day you give your life for the peace and security of the public. This is not just work but a calling. The people of Israel can observe the holidays and the Sabbath, thanks to the fact that you make nights like days. You give your life for the entire public, without distinction between religious denominations, etc. You are an example of action for the public.".

""As we approach the New Year, we pray that you will be blessed with a year of renewed strength, health, unity and prosperity for you and the entire House of Israel. Have a happy and blessed New Year.""

Minister of National Security, MK Itamar Ben-Gvir: "I have a good and mutual relationship with the Chief Rabbis.
