
A resident of Hatzor HaGlilit, in his 40s, is accused of puncturing tires and spray-painting the license plate of a vehicle belonging to a judge, after he claimed that the vehicle blocked his path in the parking lot.
The incident occurred on September 4, 2025, in the morning, in the parking lot in Hatzor HaGlilit.
According to the indictment filed with the Krayot Magistrate's Court, the suspect was driving a scooter and trying to maneuver between parked vehicles. When he noticed a vehicle blocking his path, he got off the scooter, pulled out a knife and black spray paint, punctured two tires and sprayed the vehicle's rear license plate.
He then left the scene with the scooter.
Northern District police arrived at the scene and launched a rapid investigation, during which they located the suspect and arrested him.
His detention was extended from time to time in court, and at the end of the investigation, he was indicted for malicious damage and unlawful possession of an assault weapon.
The suspect claimed during his interrogation: "I didn't know it was a judge's car.".
The police emphasize that they take a tough stance against criminal acts of this type, especially when they are directed at public servants.
