Changes at the top of Radio 103: About two years after being appointed CEO of the popular station, Itamar Druckman informed employees that he would leave his position immediately after the holidays - in mid-October.
In a letter to the station's employees, he wrote: "Dear 103fm people, at the end of a complex period for the country, the media, and all of us personally, I would like to inform you that I will soon be ending my role as CEO of the radio. This period was full of challenges. I was blessed with a wonderful team that knows how to stand firm in the face of reality.".
Druckman, 29, took over as CEO in July 2023, after Or Tselkovnik left to be appointed CEO of News 13. Tselkovnik currently serves as the editor-in-chief of the Walla website, which operates within Eli Azur's media group.
Druckman is a graduate of Galei Tzahal, and previously served as editor of 'Kalman Lieberman' on the B network. At Radio 103, part of the Eli Azur group, he concurrently served as CEO and editor-in-chief.
During his time, the station underwent significant changes: Didi Harari's departure for Radio 102, the famous suspension of Yinon Magal, the joining of Eyal Berkovich from Radio 102, and interesting additions to the lineup such as: Geula Even and Guy Meroz.
In the last two years, the radio station has shown growth in TGI surveys, with the latest survey, from July 2024 to June 2025, maintaining its position as the most-rated regional-national radio station in Israel.
Druckman will be replaced by Avi Cohen, the editor of 'Moriah and Barko' on Channel 13.
