''The burglar was polite and quiet': A thief broke into a news anchor's home and she survived to tell the story

Netali Shem Tov, a news anchor for 13, told her followers on the social network X this morning (Thursday) about the drama that befell her and her family last night: A thief entered their house, took their wallets and threw away their IDs.

Shem Tov revealed that none of the household members woke up.

The news anchor wrote: "Our house was broken into early this morning. There's nothing to get excited about, it turns out this is the season: every morning another house enters the grim statistics.

""Fortunately, the burglar was polite, took the wallets but threw away all the IDs in order to escape. He was also so quiet that no one woke up. Perhaps so as not to disturb the country's deep slumber.".

Shem Tov is married to Idan Avni, a 'Israel Hayom' reporter in the north.
