Recruitment decree: Nehorai Mesika, an ultra-Orthodox avrechid resident of Ashkelon, a graduate of the Ohel Yosef yeshiva in Bnei Brak, was arrested at noon (Tuesday) at Ben Gurion Airport, after receiving a draft order and failing to report as ordered by the great men of Israel of all classes - after being misled by the Ministry of the Interior.
The Abraach, a father of a toddler, was about to travel abroad with his wife. According to a report by Daniel Grubeis in the Galts, the Abraach family says that he tried to clarify his status before the flight with the yeshiva committee, but received no answer.
Following this, he contacted the Ministry of the Interior to inquire about his status, where he was misled when he was told that he could leave without fear.
The Yeshivas Committee claims, in response, that the Aravech was told that the issue was still under review, but he decided to take the flight on his own accord.
Immediately after the arrest, his family turned to the organization 'Am Kadosh', which included the organization's lawyers in the case and provided him with legal assistance.
The man, with whom contact was cut off after his phone was taken from him, was located by the lawyer and received legal guidance in preparation for the hearing that will take place in his case.
He was brought before a judge for disciplinary proceedings, and was released immediately afterwards.
The organization says that "this is a man from Irbid who went to the airport with a toddler in his arms and a young wife, who never thought of taking a gamble and being arrested in this situation. He went out, as mentioned, solely due to the deception of the Ministry of the Interior.".
According to a report by Eli Hirshman on Channel 12, the defector passed the security check without stamping his passport and was arrested a few minutes later - before boarding the plane. Only after his arrest did it become clear that he was a deserter and was handed over to the military police.

Am Kadosh told Haredim 10: "What happened at Ben Gurion Airport is a different story. This is the first time in his life that he has gone abroad.".
He passed through with a baby in his arms, first he passed his passport and then the baby's. Apparently when he passed his passport he didn't pass through, but he didn't catch it, because he doesn't know the procedures, and then he passed through his passport and the gate opened and he passed through. He walked all the way to the plane and then they caught him.".
Attorneys Shlomo Hadad and Itai Cohen, who represented the immigrant on behalf of 'Am Kedush', said: "This is a young immigrant about a year after his marriage, who did not receive any summons to his home and was unaware of his legal situation. This morning, when he arrived with his wife and family at Ben Gurion Airport and passed the security check, he was arrested and summoned for questioning. He was then informed that he was prohibited from leaving the country and was brought before a judge for disciplinary proceedings, and was released immediately afterwards.".
