Continuing to expand the defense production base: The Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Maj. Gen. Amir Baram, signed orders for the purchase of aerial munitions manufactured by Elbit Systems for the IDF, totaling approximately 900 million shekels.

The production of the munitions will be carried out at Elbit factories across the country, which employ thousands of workers, who since the beginning of the "Iron Swords" war have been operating in an increased capacity in accordance with the Ministry of Defense's requirements.

The Defense Ministry says that "these transactions constitute a central pillar of the policy promoted by the Defense Ministry to expand the Israeli defense production base as part of the lessons of the war and to fully support all the IDF's needs, both in the current campaign and in looking ahead to a decade of solid defenses.".
