After years in which Haredi families were forced to leave Givat Ze'ev to look for suitable activities, for the first time in Givat Ze'ev: a dedicated, rich and diverse summer program was formulated for the Haredi public, with a variety of activities for all family members: children, girls, women, fathers and yeshiva students.

The Haredi summer in Givat Ze'ev includes activities in neighborhoods, educational plays, separate pool days, creative workshops, shows and screenings approved by educational professionals, all within the council's jurisdiction.

The inter-time activity will conclude with the main performance for yeshiva students, featuring the artist of emotion Shmulik Sukkot, accompanied by a soul choir and an expanded orchestra.

The plan was built from a comprehensive view of the residents' needs, and constitutes a significant step in developing a high-quality and adapted cultural system in the community, which will serve all sectors of Givat Ze'ev, throughout the year.

Council Chairman Yossi Asraf: "We worked so that every family in Givat Ze'ev could enjoy a quality, accessible and diverse summer here in the community. As part of the general plan, we also ensured a rich and respectful set of activities for the Haredi public, fully in line with their lifestyle and values. I thank all those involved in the work, and invite all residents to take part and enjoy the abundance of programs we have built here for them.".

Deputy and Acting Head of the Council, Yitzhak Brenner: "The program was built out of a commitment to the well-being of the residents, with an emphasis on value content, workshops and activities that are suitable for the whole family. We made sure to have a character tailored to the Haredi public. We are in the midst of establishing a cultural network that will operate throughout the year from a significant budget received from the Haredi Authority headed by MK Rabbi Uri Maklev.".

Israel Rivuch, deputy head of the council and holder of the Eastern Heritage portfolio: "The Haredi public in Givat Ze'ev is receiving for the first time a proper cultural response, based on a deep understanding of its unique needs. This is the beginning of a broad process that will continue, with God's help, throughout the year.".
