Under the direction of Minister of Transportation Miri Regev: The Ministry of Transportation will provide assistance to victims of missile damage, through a special arrangement that will allow residents whose homes were damaged and uninhabitable to travel free on public transportation.

The arrangement includes free travel on bus and train lines throughout the country, with the aim of making things easier for the victims and ensuring their free movement, easily and at no cost, to reach their temporary place of residence and to travel there to workplaces, educational institutions, and essential services.

Eligible residents will be able to redeem the benefit through the companies that issue the Rav-Kav card.

The move is part of a broad array of assistance to affected residents, and in accordance with the Minister of Transportation's policy that directed the ministry's teams to assist in the well-being of citizens affected during Operation 'Am Kalavi'.

It should be noted that a similar arrangement was implemented for nearly two years by the Ministry of Transportation for the benefit of evacuees from the north and south, and now the implementation of the outline has also been approved for victims of the war in Iran.

The government also approved the continuation of the free travel benefit for the families of the abductees and returnees.

Minister of Transportation Miri Regev: "As we have been doing since October 7, we continue to assist and stand by the citizens of Israel who were affected as a result of the attack, and to make it as easy as possible for them to adapt to their alternative place of residence, with the aim of creating conditions as comfortable as possible for them until the completion of treatment and their resettlement in permanent residence."

Ministry of Transportation Director General Moshe Ben-Zaken: "The Israeli government has approved the arrangement initiated by Minister Miri Regev to provide free transportation services to all those who were evacuated from their homes. Many residents were also left without a private vehicle, which was also damaged, and they are required to travel extensively in their temporary residence. In accordance with the Minister's instructions, we will continue to provide all the tools at our disposal for the welfare of Israeli citizens."
