Towards the approval of the budget and the Haredi ultimatum: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a conversation today (Sunday) that lasted about 20 minutes with Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, Rosh Yeshiva of Slobodka, which dealt with the progress of the conscription law and the expected voting method of the Haredi Knesset members on the budget law that will be brought to the Knesset plenum tomorrow.
In the conversation, which took place in English, the Prime Minister and the Rosh Yeshiva discussed the details of the draft law that is being formulated, and the expected date for its approval.
According to a report by Amit Segal, the conversation between Netanyahu and the Rabbi Hirsch was conducted in English so that the Rosh Yeshiva's staff would not understand its content and the conversation would remain personal between them.
In addition, the Prime Minister also spoke today with the Rebbe of Belza about the same issues. This is in preparation for the discussions and votes expected in the Knesset in the coming days.
