Margi awarded certificates to young contestants from Modi'in Illit who completed a haircut course

Minister of Social Affairs Yaakov Margi arrived this week for a professional tour of Modi'in Illit, along with his office staff and the district administration.

The minister began the tour with a visit to the Welfare Department, along with Mayor Yaakov Guterman and Deputy Mayor Yaakov Marciano - chairman of the local Shas and holder of the Welfare Department portfolio, Council member Moshe Yefet and the Welfare Department management team.

The minister praised the department's staff for their dedicated work on behalf of the city's residents and welfare populations.

From there, Minister Margi continued to tour a number of therapeutic and occupational settings for struggling boys and girls, as well as a family treatment center. The mayor presented the minister with unique welfare models developed specifically for struggling boys and girls from the Haredi sector.

Minister Margi met with the boys and girls and heard from them about the challenges they face and the assistance and therapeutic support they provide. He also spoke with the therapeutic teams and thanked them for their dedicated work on behalf of the struggling youth.

In one of the settings, an exciting moment was recorded, when Minister Margi presented certificates to young men who had completed a professional haircut course, which was held for them with full funding from the therapeutic setting, by the School of Hairdressing and Hair Design, directed by Yaakov Assayag.

Minister Margi concluded the tour with a working meeting at the city hall with the district administration team headed by Orly Osterman and senior city officials. At the meeting, they discussed strengthening and promoting welfare services and developing additional programs and solutions to assist residents, with an emphasis on providing solutions tailored to the Haredi public.
