Happy ending: NIS District police returned to an elderly man, a resident of Beitar Illit, an envelope containing NIS 6,000 in cash that he had lost.

The incident began about two weeks ago, when the man arrived at the police station in Ezion and sadly reported that he had lost his money.

Upon receiving the complaint, investigators gathered a detailed description of the location where he believed he had lost the envelope, and began rapid investigation using advanced technological means. Security cameras at the scene of the loss helped identify a woman who picked up the envelope from the scene and continued on her way.

Following the investigation, the police worked to locate the woman, and after efforts, they were able to locate her yesterday afternoon.

During questioning, the woman returned the envelope with the money to the police.

Later, the man was invited to the police station, where he received the envelope of money during an emotional meeting with the team of investigators who handled the case.
