In honor of the holiday of Hanukkah: composer and singer Haim Mordechai Eckstein presents a new and especially bouncy single - "Vahar".
""Vahar" is an ancient Carlinian melody, filled with emotion, longing, and a request for enlightenment in the study of the Holy Torah. The melody receives additional interpretations and meanings and is intensified during the days of Hanukkah, known as the "Days of Light.".
The tune is being reworked by the Salzman family in memory of their father, Rabbi Moshe Shalom bar Asher, z"l, whose love for Torah study was great - and who even donated several Torah scrolls to synagogues across the country.
