Division 162 forces continue to operate in the areas of Jabaliya and Beit Lahia.

Air Force fighter jets, under the direction of the 215th Fire Brigade, attacked dozens of weapons depots, military structures, and central terrorist infrastructures of the Hamas terrorist organization in the Marhavim region overnight (Wednesday).

Many targets were attacked following preliminary intelligence information, gathered from the interrogations of terrorists who were arrested during the fighting, and were interrogated by Unit 504 and the Shin Bet.

The activity was preceded by the evacuation of the population from the area, for its protection.

In addition, an Air Force aircraft, under the direction of the Gaza Division's fire center, attacked and killed in Gaza City the terrorist Murad Rajoub, who was one of the two terrorists who carried out the May 2002 bomb attack in Beersheba, in which about ten civilians were injured.

Rajoub was sentenced to 38 years in prison and released in the "Shalit deal.".
