
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu landed in New York last night - ahead of his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, this (Friday) afternoon.
While the Prime Minister is holding policy meetings, along with managing the war in the North and South and preparing for the speech, his wife Sarah traveled to the grave of the Lubavitcher Rebbe at the Montefiore Cemetery in the borough of Queens.
The Prime Minister's wife arrived at the Zion accompanied by Chabad emissaries in Queens, Rabbi Zalman Zavlonov and Rabbi Levi Yitzhak Volovik and their wives, Hagit Sofiev, daughter of Governor Rabbi Levi Leviev, the wife of the consul in New York Adi Akunis, and businesswoman Nicole Riadman.
The Prime Minister's wife brought with her representatives of the families of the 101 hostages held captive by Hamas, and prayed for their speedy and peaceful release, peace with Israel, and the success of the security forces on all fronts.
Afterwards, Netanyahu led a prayer next to the graves of the Rebbe's mother - Rebbetzin Hanna Schneerson (may God bless her) and the Rebbe's wife - Rebbetzin Chaya Moshka (may God bless her).
