The reserve soldiers who were arrested earlier today (Monday) at the Yemeni Field Base near Beersheba, on suspicion of attacking the Nuhba terrorists, were transferred to the MPI base at the Beit Lid junction.
Attorneys Adi Kedar and Nati Rom Mehonu, who represent 4 of the detainees - who requested assistance from the organization.
Attorney Adi Keidar: "Shame, shame, shame. As a reserve officer until recently for over 25 years, I am ashamed today, and especially in recent times. Every day I advise the best of our soldiers, who left their families and went out to serve the country in times of war, and find themselves in interrogation rooms. Someone in the military prosecutor's office has lost it. We will demand their release today.".
Attorney Nati Rom: "I am assisting a reserve soldier, a member of an entire bereaved family, who performed hundreds of days of reserve duty with great dedication, in difficult conditions in the Yemeni field. I spoke with his wife just now, she is crying and telling about the incident, it sends shivers down her spine. This thing must not be done, certainly not in the way it was done, we hope that all the fighters will be released immediately.".
