Publicity activist Yosef Haddad, an Arab-Israeli who will light a torch on the upcoming Independence Day, was a guest on the program "Open Shay" this evening (Tuesday) and was surprised to discover that the pair of interviewers had prepared a torch-lighting ceremony for him in advance in the studio.
""Because I don't want you to do tricks, because this is your first time, I'll demonstrate for you," Shai Goldstein told him and lit the beacon that was placed in the studio.
When he saw that the flame went out immediately, Shai said: "I want to wave it because it won't light.".

Yosef Haddad, an Arab-Israeli, was chosen to light a torch on Independence Day this year along with Ella Keinan, as both worked extensively for Israeli propaganda during the war. In addition, earlier today it was decided that Australian international actor Nathaniel (Nate) Bozolitz would join them.
