In a recording released by one of the fighters, a soldier is heard warning his comrades that there may be terrorists in the house after noticing cups of coffee.
Soldier 1: There are cups they probably wanted to make coffee in.
Soldier 2: I'll shoot one bullet into the bathroom (- the middle room).
Soldier 3: They were here a minute ago.
Soldier 1: Yes, brother, there are cups of coffee here, brother.
A soldier fired at the toilet - and immediately afterwards the terrorists returned fire.
The soldier explained that the officer was lucky that the terrorist opened fire on him a little too early. The likely reason for the terrorist's early firing was the fact that the fighters were shining a flashlight towards the hiding place - which created a shadow on the officer leading the force. The terrorists noticed the shadow and thought the officer was standing near them, so they opened fire.
The fighter added that three terrorists were hiding in the apartment and they had enough food for two weeks.
In addition, the terrorists were equipped with security cameras installed in the building.
