The suspect, a resident of the ultra-Orthodox city, is being questioned at the station at this time.
The police said that "the investigation is ongoing.".
Yesterday, the police opened an investigation into the violent incident following a complaint from a bus driver from East Jerusalem, who was attacked with stab wounds.
Footage from the bus camera shows the suspect boy entering the bus and stabbing the driver for no reason, other than the fact that the driver was of Arab origin.
In a video published on Channel 12, the boy is seen getting on a bus and, for no reason, attacking and stabbing the bus driver with a pair of scissors he was holding. Immediately after the act, the boy fled. The driver required medical treatment.

This morning, as mentioned, he arrived at Modiin Illit station and turned himself in.
A source close to the investigation told Channel 12 that the teenage suspect claims he was drunk when he stabbed the driver.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that a minority driver has been attacked in the Haredi city by marginalized youth. However, this is apparently the first time that a driver has been stabbed with a sharp object.
