
Kobi Dahan joins the new i24NEWS news channel and will be the religion correspondent.
Dahan, 29, a graduate of high-ranking yeshivahs, began his professional career at Kol Chai Radio in 2015 as a news presenter and editor. In 2017, he joined Galei Tzahal, where he was the digital and current affairs editor.
Upon completion of his service, he was appointed spokesman for the National Histadrut. Later, he was one of the founders of the School of Spokespersons for members of the Haredi community, a project established in collaboration with Bar Ilan University.
Last year, Dahan was the spokesperson for Deputy Minister of Finance and Knesset Member Michal Waldiger.
The channel continues to announce new members, ahead of the expected launch in the coming months: Miri Michaeli will lead the main edition of i24NEWS in Hebrew and will be the main presenter.
Journalist Oren Weigenfeld, former host of "First Edition" on Channel 12, will be one of the hosts of the edition and host the Saturday Night edition. Niv Gilboa and Uri Koel will present programs on the evolving broadcast schedule.
The team of reporters recruited Dor Cohen as a military correspondent, Nadav Elimelech as a political correspondent, Sivan Sisai as a culture correspondent, Lee Ayish as a crime and police reporter, and Sapir Levy as a consumer affairs reporter.
i24NEWS in Hebrew is part of a network of international news channels and will join the group's channels in English, French and Arabic.
