In Hangar 11 at the Tel Aviv Port, 10 couples who were forced to postpone their wedding date due to the war stood under the canopy last night (Tuesday).

What, won't you join in to protect your home? This is the way to volunteer now

The grooms are all fighters who have been active in recent months against the Hamas enemy in the heart of Gaza. As part of the initiative of Chabad emissary in Savyon, Rabbi Shmuel Bistritzky, a huge wedding was held last night in an emotional and special setting.

Over the past few weeks, Rabbi Bistritzky and his wife accompanied the bride and groom in a series of meetings, prayers, and Torah lessons.

The highlight was earlier this week, when the bride and groom offered a joint prayer at the Western Wall. There, in front of the remains of our temple, Chief Rabbi Hared Lau spoke to them with moving words, speaking about the inner Jewish essence of the wedding day.

The brides participated in a lavish evening of challah-making with Rebbetzin Rivka Bystritsky and offered a joint prayer that they would be blessed to establish a faithful home in Israel.

The wedding was accompanied by ten rabbis and Chabad emissaries from all over the country, who blessed the bride and groom, with the large audience thrilled by the historic occasion, which was unprecedented in Israel.

It was Kiddush Hashem, when thousands of family members participated in a carefully organized ceremony of the purity of the Holy Spirit. During the chuppah, the melodious Arba Bevut melody, composed by the author of the Tanya, was played.

During the chuppah, the Chabad emissary in Tel Aviv, Rabbi Yosef Shmuel Gerlitzky, delivered words of encouragement and blessing, and the priests' blessing was honored by Rabbi Elad Cohen, Chabad emissary in Kfar Saba.

Throughout the evening, Israeli artists performed songs of faith and tradition, delighting the bride and groom.

""The enemy wanted to destroy and dismantle - but we are here, tonight, giving our Jewish answer: another Jewish home and another Jewish home," said Rabbi Bistritzky with excitement.
