AKO rabbis were exposed to the military rabbinate's kashrut revolution: Seminars were held in Jerusalem by the rabbis of the AKO, which brings together the top leaders in the kashrut world in the US, during which the rabbis discussed food technology issues, innovations in the global food industry, and methods of supervision.

Rabbis and experts in the food industry presented halachic issues to the heads of kashrut systems, which grant kashrut to thousands of factories around the world and have a direct impact on the food industry in Israel.

Due to the situation in Israel, they chose to hold the conference in Jerusalem this year, expressing solidarity and support for the citizens of Israel. These are the world's leading kashrut bodies that provide kashrut in many establishments around the world.

A special session was dedicated to learning about the IDF's kashrut training system.

The Chief of Staff of the Military Rabbinate, Colonel Rabbi Chaim Weisberg, reviewed with the rabbis the elaborate kashrut practiced in the IDF kashrut system. "The policy established by the Chief Rabbi of the IDF, Brigadier General Rabbi Eyal Karim, is to provide every soldier with Mehadrin food," said Rabbi Weisberg, who previously headed the kashrut branch.

Rabbi Weisberg upgraded the IDF's kashrut system so that it meets strict and high standards that meet the definition of exquisite kashrut.

The head of the Kashrut branch, Lt. Col. Rabbi Neriah Rosenthal, reviewed the Kashrut system during the war and shared with the rabbis the challenges the Kashrut branch faces.

The rabbis were informed that under the leadership of the Chief Rabbi of the IDF, Brigadier General Rabbi Eyal Karim, the Chief of Staff of the Military Rabbinate, Colonel Rabbi Chaim Weisberg, and the head of the Kashrut branch, Lieutenant Colonel Rabbi Neriah Rosenthal, it was decided that all meat entering the IDF will be part Galat - which constitutes a real revolution.

Rabbi Ezra Friedman, the director general of the OU who organized the seminar, spoke about the cooperation between the Military Rabbinate and the OU in normal times and during the war, and spoke of his great impression of the exceptionally high level of kashrut that the Military Rabbinate maintains with great care.
