Last night (Wednesday), news of the heroic fall in battle in the northern Gaza Strip of Nahal Brigade fighter Lavi Gehassi, a resident of the Hashmonaim settlement - the son of Yaakov and Orit Gehassi - was announced.
The day before Lavi's fall, Atara Gihashi, a special and outstanding girl who studies at the Beit Esther High School of the Tzohar Halev network, conducted a special interview with her aunt Orit, a social worker in the Social Services Department of the Rehovot Municipality.
The interview was conducted as part of an expression class at the school.
In the interview, Atara asked her aunt about her son Yagel, Lavi's brother, who is also serving in Gaza, and at the end, she asked her for her full name for the prayer.
The bereaved mother gave the name and asked to pray for his brother as well - "Lavi Ben Orit," emphasizing how important the prayers of Atara and her friends are to her.
