At the beginning of his remarks, the chairman of the state camp expressed his request that "the honorable rabbi, who dominates all levels of the Israeli public and with his ability to unite the people, should call for support for a broad unity government.".
The yeshiva head spoke with Gantz in particular about the virtue of national unity, and pointed out to him that although there are differences of opinion in the public, the essence of the Jewish people as one people transcends everything.
""What do you say," said the yeshiva head. "Things need to be done, things need to be done.".
Gantz asked the Rabbi to also work with other parties to calm the situation and implement legal reform.
