
Baruch Dayan, the truth teller: In the Chabad housing complex in Lod, the late Rabbi Yitzhak Yona Mendelsohn, the legendary instructor at the Tomchei Temimim yeshiva in Lod, who raised generations of students and was the head of the yeshiva for many years, passed away this morning (Sunday), at the age of 95.
He left a deep Hasidic mark and instilled Hasidic leadership among his thousands of students.
In 2015, he retired, after 65 consecutive years in the yeshiva.
Yavdalaht left behind many descendants.
His wife, Mrs. Sarah Rivka Mendelsohn, passed away in the month of Tishrei 5775.

His funeral will leave at 2:00 PM from his home on 4 Tzemach Tzedek Street in Lod, via the "Tomchei Temimim" yeshiva, and at 5:00 PM from the Shamgar funeral home in Jerusalem.
