An exciting day of saluting and recognizing members of the civil service was held at the Congress Center in the Ha'ama Buildings in Jerusalem, with the participation of hundreds of civil service members, from all streams and colors, who volunteer in a variety of security and social tracks - and make a significant contribution to society, along with creating a significant employment horizon for them.
The Salute Day opened with a study and employment fair where a long line of educational and professional training organizations presented study paths. Each booth was staffed by a personal study advisor with whom service members consulted on the most successful path for them.
At the entrance to the fair, professional occupational diagnosis stations were waiting, allowing hundreds of interested parties to check what best suits them in the labor market.

The participants thanked Aviad Schwartz, director of the Haredi employment sector in the labor branch, for his mobilization on behalf of service members.
The Director General of the Civilian National Service Authority, Reuven Pinsky, toured the booths and met with the service members up close, accompanied by the Employment Authority's advisor Ze'evi Sklar, the CEO of Telem, and the Director of the Haredi Division in the Civilian Service, Haim Porush, and heard firsthand the feelings of the service members and their directions for the future.
Afterwards, the main event in the auditorium began when the Authority's Director General, Reuven Pinsky, gave opening remarks. In his remarks, he emphasized the impressive work done for the benefit of service members throughout the process and noted the efforts being made to increase the salaries of service members, particularly in employment programs.
""Civilian service is a family, a family of giving and partnership. The period of service is a time to collect mitzvot and repay kindness to others. And a time to harness the many skills and develop forward. You, dear volunteers, suggest to anyone for whom the service path might be a good fit - to come and join the civil service family that we are all privileged to be a part of. To contribute to the community and be contributed to in return," he said.
Moderator Yedidia Meir: "Every day, everyone here in the hall volunteers in a different place, in a different setting - today we have an opportunity to meet together, to feel part of a superpower, to understand that we are part of something very big, which reaches millions of Israelis and improves our lives in so many areas.".
The main burden was borne by the head of the Beit Midrash "Yachava Da'at", the gaon Rabbi David Yosef, a member of the Council of Torah Sages, who expanded on the virtue of the kindness that the service members are committed to in all their ways. "You are people of kindness, kindness of truth, you sanctify the name of heaven.".
Concluding remarks were made by the Director General of the Ministry of Labor, Israel Ozan, who expanded on the rights of service members and mentioned his being a service graduate, noting the tremendous contribution of service members to society and the people of Israel as they demonstrate the ability to be a Ben Torah person even in the world of work. "The onus is on us to prove that this path is correct, we sanctify heaven with our actions.".
At this point, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's greeting to hundreds of service members was broadcast: "You do a lot for the country, fingers crossed, you will continue to succeed.".
.The ceremony was enlivened by singing by the great singers Ari Hill and Haim Israel, with the climax of the singing being attended by the Director General of the Authority, Reuven Pinsky, who joined in with a cantor segment that swept the entire audience into a powerful song.
At the ceremony held during the event, certificates of excellence were awarded to three service members: Meir Bachar from the Negotiation Unit in the Israel Police, Menachem Abramowitz from the Cyber Defense Department in the Prison Service, and Adir Yaakov from "Tzohar for Purity" in Rechsim. The three, who were crowned as President's Distinguished Service Members, thanked the Authority's management, the "Hebrim" organization, and all the helpers and assistants.
The ceremony concluded with a lavish Shabbat meal in the main hall, accompanied by an orchestra of Shabbat songs. The service members were moved to thank the Authority's CEO, Reuven Pinsky, the Authority's management, and the members' organization for the blessed activity throughout and for listening to all their needs, especially the impressive and enjoyable ceremony.
