This Friday, Apple fans in the US (and England, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico and Singapore) are expected to pounce on the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Apple has already announced that it has received orders for 4 million devices within 24 hours. Unlike previous years, Israelis are expected to wait just over a month until the official launch of the iPhones through official importers and cellular companies.
Expected prices in cell phone stores are 3,500 shekels for the 16 GB version of the iPhone 6 and 4,200 shekels for the iPhone 6 Plus with the same amount of memory.
Prices from cell phone companies may be a little more expensive.
For customers who can't wait and want an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus next week, it's worth knowing that in the coming days, many stores are expected to begin selling the new iPhones as parallel imports and at extremely high prices that could reach NIS 5,500 for the standard 6 model.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus come in at 6.9mm thick with a 4.7-inch screen and 7.1mm with a 5.5-inch screen, respectively. The iPhone 6 Plus comes with a Full HD screen quality with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 401ppi, the iPhone 6 model comes with a slightly lower resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels and a pixel density of 326ppi.
The iPhone 5S came with a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and a pixel density of 326ppi.
