To the paths of magical Safed, amidst the ancient alleys shrouded in majesty, great singers from all over the world came to welcome Shabbat together, singing and chanting. Zanvil Weinberger sang with a Hari voice, Naftali Kempe with a Yeshiva lute, Levi Falkevich immigrated to Israel on a direct flight from New York with Dobby Maysels the Komitzer, while Aharon Razel also chimed in with the guitar. Here, in Safed, the city where the Kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo Elkabetz, zt"l, who composed the piyut "Lecha Dodi" lived, worked, and is buried, combined the melodies of the ancient piyut in Idit into one moving and special rosary, the work of Pinchas Bichler, who also wrote the magnificent script for the work and also arranged it vocally, accompanied by the "Malchot" choir. The rosary features sacred movements from the Hasidic furnace, marches from Dzikov and dance melodies from Warka, folk melodies by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach that have become an inseparable part of the essence of the piyut "Lecha Dodi", alongside selected artistic pieces from the house of Vizhnitz, Yiddish rhymes that were sung to the piyut in the courtyard on the Galician oboe, alongside the beloved "Boay Be'shalom" by Rabbi David Werdiger, composed by Rabbi Yankel Talmud, which seals the work. In the middle, between the arched gates and the stone houses The typical ones fill the Safed alleys with the elders and residents of the city, as they are observed as they prepare for a holy Sabbath that spreads its wings over the city; preparing its ancient synagogues to receive the Sabbath, with a group of klezmer players playing the composition "Lecha Dodi" in the background. Maestro Yehuda Galili was entrusted with the musical arrangement, while the artist Harashi Segal was responsible for the direction, color, and editing. Michael Tzi was responsible for the production. Avrahamy Goldstein was responsible for the project management and public relations. US PR ArrangeIt.Media. Mixing by Haim Mozes and photography by Yosef Shelest. .
