The last joy: The young man Israel Horwitz, who passed away this week at the age of 16, after suffering from a serious illness for a long time, recently lived in Beitar Illit, where he had a special experience.

Not long ago, in the midst of difficult treatments, the late Israel was invited to the office of Mayor Meir Rubinstein, where he was surprised to see that a special 'reinforcement' party had been prepared for him, which the mayor celebrated with the staff of his office, dedicating a long hour of his time to him, and giving him a special gift with a personal dedication.

""I've been visiting him almost every week lately," says Rubinstein.

""He was a special young man, who grew up as an orphan after his late father passed away just days after his birth. Despite everything, he was always happy and cheerful, and studied very diligently.".

""I also have a personal acquaintance with his brother Yabalhat, whose faces are often adorned with a river of grace and who glorify the glorious lineage of the Horwitz family, a descendant of the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.".

""Recently, the late Yisrael lived with the Neustadt family in Beitar - a dear family from whom one can learn about acts of kindness. When I visited his sickbed on Shabbat evening at Hadassah Ein Kerem, I was amazed to see Mrs. Neustadt and her husband, preparing themselves with devotion to be by his side on Shabbat, after having already been by his side throughout the week. Happy Yisrael.".
