
A survey conducted by Kan News revealed that the Otzma Yehudit party, headed by MK Itamar Ben-Gvir, are the big winners of the coalition agreements.
During the survey, participants were asked to answer the question: "Which party achieved the most impressive achievements in the coalition negotiations with the Likud" - and Otzma Yehudit achieved a complete victory over the other parties.
Thus, 30% of the respondents believed that Ben-Gvir was the big winner of the negotiations, compared to 12% who think that Bezalel Smotrich achieved the most. 12% vote for Aryeh Deri. Only 5% think that United Torah Judaism achieved significant achievements; and 2% think that Avi Maoz achieved the most.
The survey also shows that only 371% of respondents are satisfied with the composition of the government, 481% are dissatisfied, and the rest do not know.
In the division between religious and secular: Among the secular, 17% are satisfied with the composition of the government, 73% are dissatisfied. Among the religious: 69% are satisfied with the government that will be formed, and only 12% are dissatisfied with it.
On the question concerning legislation that would allow MK Aryeh Deri to be appointed as a minister without fear of reproach: 23% support the legislation, 57% oppose it, and 20% don't know. Among Netanyahu bloc voters, the split is 48% support, 28% oppose, and 23% don't know.
Another question concerned the revelation here of news that Netanyahu and Deri are planning to appoint him as the alternate prime minister, in the event that he is legally unable to serve as a minister: 18% support his appointment as the alternate prime minister, 64% oppose and 18% do not know. Among Netanyahu bloc voters, the breakdown is: 39% support, 45% oppose and 16% do not know.
The survey was conducted at the Kantar Institute, headed by Dudi Hassid, on a sample of 551 men and women aged 18 and over in an online sample, which includes the Arab sector. Sampling date December 22, 2022 and sampling error: 4.4%.
