The food company Osem is not raising prices, but it is canceling promotions, Dana Yarkatzi reported today (Monday) on the B network.

Since the "Pasta Rebellion," in which customers were urged to purchase alternative products from competing Osem brands, the food giant has begun reducing promotions in various retail chains.

This week, the move reached its peak, when several major retail chains decided to remove categories of Osem products from the shelves until further notice.

Osem responded to 'Kan News': "In December, 'Osem-Nestle' has dozens of promotions on hundreds of its products in the various marketing chains. 'Osem-Nestle' announced the cancellation of the price increase as early as early February, and we apologize for any attempt to present it differently.".

At the same time, Kan News reported that the Shufersal chain continues to oppose raising the prices of Tnuva products.

On the other hand, the other large retail chains, such as Rami Levy, Yochananoff, and Victory, although they announced that they would not raise the prices of Tnuva products and would absorb them themselves, they also raised prices for a number of products by a few percent.
