Yinon Magal and Yariv Oppenheimer opened the program with a debate about Judaism. Yariv said to Yinon: "You are appropriating Judaism, Israeliness, patriotism, wisdom, religion. You are trying to turn secularism into something exclusive, an empty thing. This is both a mistake and an ugly thing.".
Yinon replied: "We will turn you back. I think that anyone who is not connected to their Jewish identity will not survive here, because what can you do? You need supernatural powers to survive here. This is no ordinary place. The leaders of the Labor Party at the time were not religious people either, but they were very religious and believed in Jewish identity.".
The two then addressed Prime Minister Yair Lapid. Yinon said: "How did he become prime minister? What kind of statistical error is this?" Yariv replied: "Lapid promised a functioning government here and here is a functioning government that passes a budget, which is now lowering the tax on fuel even further.".
He also said: "Do you know what the difference is between Lapid and Bibi? That Lapid is a sucker. If Netanyahu were to lower the tax on fuel by a penny, there would be a press conference at 8:00 PM and Netanyahu would give a speech about how amazing he is and how wonderful it is that he is personally lowering the tax on fuel.".
In response, Yinon said: "Do you really think it's right to talk about the cost of living? Because I'm not sure that's the strongest issue from the perspective of this government that Yair Lapid promised.".
