The collapse of the investigation file: The suspect in the disappearance of the 16-year-old boy Moishe Kleinerman from Modi'in Ilit, who has been missing for 100 days, was released from custody today (Monday) under restrictive conditions.
In the police statement issued with the arrest last week, a blanket gag order was imposed on the suspect's details and the reason for his arrest.
Moishi's parents, Gitti and Shmuel Kleinerman, responded to the release of the suspect in their son's disappearance: "We expect and demand that the police continue to work to bring our son home and use all the professional tools at their disposal to do so. Moishi has not been home for 100 days and unfortunately there is still no clue that will lead to good news. We demand that the police take action.".
Giti Kleinerman, Moishi's mother, said yesterday after the visit of the commander of the Sha'bi District, Uzi Levy, to their home - that she does not accept the answers she was given.
This morning, in an interview with 'Kelman Lieberman' on Channel 2, Gitti said: "This is a hundred days in which we have no clue, it is worrying to an indescribable level. In my opinion, he was kidnapped.".
The search for Kleinerman was renewed last week in light of developments in the investigation. The search focused on the Meron area and involved dozens of police officers assisted by dogs and horsemen.
The direction of the investigation into Kleinerman's case is not on the nationalist level.
Moishe traveled with his friends to the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai in Meron at the end of March. At one point, he asked to be alone and since then his traces have disappeared.
Despite the prolonged search for him, no real information about his whereabouts was obtained.
