This morning: 'Women of the Western Wall' with protest veils, in front of them children with whistles

Rosh Chodesh Sivan at the Western Wall: This morning (Tuesday), a small group of about 20 women from the Women of the Wall organization arrived, and hundreds of Haredi worshippers arrived for the Rosh Chodesh Sivan prayer.

'The 'Women of the Wall' arrived with protest veils, and children with whistles came to protest in front of them. The Western Wall Heritage Foundation's marshals confiscated the means of demonstration from both groups. The women also brought a Torah scroll into the Western Wall plaza that was hidden in a bag, which they had stolen into the plaza. The Western Wall Heritage Foundation said: "The Women of the Wall group acted again in violation of the instructions of the Ministry of Justice and even brought a Torah scroll in violation of procedure and created unnecessary commotion in the Western Wall plaza.".
