
Media personality Shimon Riklin announced this evening (Wednesday) that he is taking a "time-out" and will temporarily stop presenting his daily program "Riklin & Co." on Channel 20.

On his Twitter account, Riklin wrote: "Sometimes a person needs to take a break and observe, and check whether what he is doing is right for him and constitutes meaningful work for him.
""Therefore, I am taking a vacation from my program and from the media in general.".
He added: "Here too, I will try to reduce my presence and deal with other issues.".
""Thank you to Channel 20 for everything and to all my dear viewers. 'For the path is wiser than the one who walks it.' See you in joy.".
Riklin did not explain what caused him to take a leave of absence from the media, nor did he specify when he intended to return.
In recent months, since the formation of the Bennett-Lapid-Abbas government, he has been embroiled in clashes on Twitter with colleagues.
