Galei Tzahal noted: "Amir managed the news system of Gali Tzahal for a year and a half during a period full of broadcasting challenges, at the height of a global pandemic and a global and local economic crisis. "At the same time, the period posed challenges behind the scenes when the closure policy prevented the arrival of soldiers, journalists, and Gali Tzahal broadcasters to the station and required rapid organization for a new reality. All this while Gali Tzahal is required to broadcast continuously and, at the same time, the overlap of new generations continues.".

Galit Altstein said: "My great thanks to Amir for his hard work in general and under these conditions in particular. I look forward to continuing our journey and our joint work.".

MK Shlomo Keri responded. On the termination of Amir Ivgi's position as head of the news department at Galts: "Benny Gantz's purge campaign begins. If Gantz thinks that the Israel Democracy Institute, freedom of expression organizations and the media will keep quiet about this... he is probably right... I am considering making it easier for him and presenting my bill to close Galts.".
