Rescue forces called to the scene of the accident were forced to declare her dead.
Efrat Brenner - formerly Ben Pinchas, married her husband only four months ago.
She is survived by her husband, parents, seven sisters and three brothers.
She was married to the son of Rabbi Giora Brenner, a community rabbi, Rosh Yeshiva in Rehovot, and president of the Givat Assaf kollel.
Efrat was killed while crossing the road towards Yitzhar at the Little Yitzhar intersection. A vehicle coming from the direction of Nablus hit her and from the force of the blow she died on the spot.
Her body was identified in the field by her uncle, Yeshayahu Ben Pinchas, the regional security officer of the Samaria Regional Council.
The head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, who was at the scene, quickly drove to the settlement and joined a team of volunteers from the settlement and a paramedic who delivered the bitter news to her husband.
Dagan eulogized her: "A great disaster for the Samaritan family. A young girl, a bride with her whole life ahead of her, it is unimaginable. We embrace the Brenner and Ben Pinchas families at this difficult time. The road infrastructure in Samaria must improve. This is a national mission. If the small Yitzhar intersection had been regulated, this disaster would have been avoided.".
The driver of the offending vehicle was detained at the scene for questioning and police traffic investigators are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
