Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman addressed the possibility of bringing forward the elections for the 24th Knesset in an interview he gave to Radio Darom this morning (Monday).
""Any sensible person who looks at the government's performance understands that it would be very good for it to end its days," Lieberman said. "This is no longer related to politics. I have not been able to meet a person who is satisfied with the government's performance.".
He added: "The political system gave a chance for a whole year. It simply doesn't work. The decisions are clearly unreasonable.".
Lieberman made it clear that he sees himself as a candidate for prime minister: "I think I have the accumulated experience and proven ability that no one else in the political system has. What interests me is the future of the State of Israel. Of course I see myself as a candidate for prime minister, but that's not the question at all.".
Liberman attacked Prime Minister Netanyahu's cooperation with the chairman of the Ra'am party in the Joint List, Abbas Mansour: "Not ready for a government or any assistance from Mansour, kissing with Khaled Meshaal is Netanyahu's partner? Where have we come to.".
Regarding the possibility of sitting in a government headed by his rival Naftali Bennett, Lieberman said: "I do not rule out any Zionist party.".
