Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the coalition crisis this afternoon (Thursday), saying that going to the elections depends on the Blue and White party.

""If we see a different approach from Blue and White and cooperation instead of a government within a government, we can continue to work together. If not, it unfortunately leads to elections. I would prefer that we be united and get busy bringing peace," Netanyahu said.

In recent days, senior Likud officials have moderated their statements towards Blue and White in an attempt to find a compromise that will allow the government to continue operating, at least for a few more months.

However, currently, there are no agreements between the parties, mainly around the issue of budget approval in light of Blue and White's commitment to dissolve the government if the state budget is not approved by the end of December.

Yisrael Beytenu Chairman, MK Avigdor Lieberman, estimated earlier today that Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz will fold and continue in the unity government.

In an interview with Galei Tzahal, Liberman said: "Benny Gantz will once again find a reason why to give in to Netanyahu. All the statements and interviews in the media, it's all a smokescreen, including the committee he's going to appoint.".

Blue and White said: "The one who has been violating agreements, stalling appointments and withholding the state budget for political and personal reasons for months is Benjamin Netanyahu.

""It's not for nothing that in every poll an overwhelming majority of the public blames Netanyahu for the expected move to the elections - because it's true. If there wasn't a trial - there would be a budget.".

Netanyahu participated in the afternoon reception for the first official flight of the airline 'Fly Dubai' that landed at Ben Gurion Airport.

In his welcoming speech, the Prime Minister said: "We are moving at record speed towards a new era that is changing the Middle East and the future of our peoples. This is not only about changing the situation of Israel, but also about changing the situation of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. Visa exemption will allow for a huge opening of trade, the economy and tourism.".

He added: "We are already flying over Saudi Arabia, it is a welcome change. I expect the circle of normalization to continue to expand. I say this with great confidence, nothing is guaranteed, but I estimate that we will see more countries joining this circle. What we are doing today is a historic thing – the first commercial flight from Dubai to Israel and not the last.".

""We will open dozens of flights in both directions - this changes not only the future of the State of Israel and the Middle East, but also its present.".
