Actor Yehuda Barkan was hospitalized at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem after contracting the coronavirus.
Barkan, the star of the 'Stolen Father' films who recently celebrated his 75th birthday, has been diagnosed with the virus.
Barkan, who converted about 15 years ago, has been taking refuge in a hotel in Jerusalem in recent days so as not to endanger his wife - and on Yom Kippur he suffered from shortness of breath.
His son Roy informed us that yesterday he was admitted to the intensive care unit in moderate and stable condition. He is conscious and communicating with his relatives.
""We will ask the people of Israel to read a chapter of Psalms for his healing. We acknowledge and appreciate everyone's concern," the Barkan family said.
