This morning (Sunday), it was announced in the Galatians that the wedding ceremony of the son of Supreme Court Justice Hanan Meltzer violated the Corona regulations.

The wedding was attended by 70 people and was held in a hotel in recent days.

The Ministry of Health claims that 20 people must be allowed at an event in a closed hall, and it doesn't matter if it was in a hotel or another location.

The court administration responded: "The small wedding ceremony of the son of Vice President Meltzer was held in accordance with the Corona regulations and after preliminary clarification by the family with the Ministry of Health. At the wedding ceremony, there was a limit on the number of participants in accordance with the regulations of 30 people in an open area and 20 people in a closed area.".

""The limited banquet after the ceremony was held at a hotel in accordance with Regulation 8(b)(2), which permits banquets for hotel guests in the dining room so that the number of diners does not exceed 35% of the permitted occupancy.".

The human rights organization "In the Picture" filed a strong complaint today (Sunday), following the publication, to the Ombudsman for Judges, retired Judge Uri Shoham: "This act constitutes a crushing of public trust in the system and constitutes a violation of the rules of ethics," the complaint stated.
