Many Twitter users in Israel are familiar with the fake account of retired Supreme Court President Miriam Naor - which gained thousands of followers, including media figures and politicians - in which satirical tweets appeared that received hundreds of likes and shares and a great deal of resonance online.

This morning (Wednesday) it was revealed that the fake account was activated as part of a campaign by the Derech Chaim movement against Supreme Court activists, which began about a year and a half ago.

"Leave Kahlon, point the arrows at me," "Court guards are on alert," "Interim orders for the weather," and various polls - including whether to summon President Trump to a hearing on his case in court - are some of the satirical tweets published on Miriam Naor's Twitter account.

The account was managed by Eran Schwartz's public relations firm, "Correct Communication," which was hired by the "Way of Life" movement to support the campaign.

The movement's campaign, which culminated in the protest of the golden statue of Supreme Court President Miriam Naor, which was placed near the Supreme Court at the end of her term, received wide media exposure. In parallel with the campaign, "Derech Chaim" promoted the Governance Law, which was placed on the Knesset table with the signatures of 16 MKs from all coalition factions. The law, based on the "British model," was drafted by the chairman of the movement's legal cell, Attorney Uri Tzifuri.

Uri Kershenbom from the management of the Derech Haim movement said, "The invalidation of laws, respect for the families of terrorists, and the legalization of everything that moves - the reality surpasses any satire. We were happy to see the great sympathy in all walks of life, including many journalists and politicians. This is part of our modest contribution in the fight against judicial activism."
