In the week in which Minister Lapid reveals to us that the money is hidden in the settlements and not in the treasury's reserves, I reveal that those who will fight for our rights in the country will be women.

I met Meira Dolev from "Settlers on the Net" this week in a joint television interview, and you all know Emily Amrusi from her articles in the newspaper "Israel Hayom." Both of them are Torah and mitzvot observant and both are "settlers," so their love for the land is unquestionable.

Unlike male politicians, who exalt the integrity of the land with their mouths and freeze construction in Judea and Jerusalem with their fingers, these women prove that the land in its entirety belongs to women. Both those who will settle it and those who will fill it with children. And not a word about the chauvinism of the haredi politicians and their love of their seats, which replaced love of the land with their continued stay on the opposition benches.

A disrespectful gig

This week I chose to address the parsha of the week - the parsha of the spies. What better way to learn a lesson for our day than from this parsha? I will not go into the slander of the land attributed to the spies who were "the leaders of the children of Israel.".

Even today, there are those who slander the country, but unlike the events of the affair, they are very, very far from the definition of 'leaders of the people of Israel,' even though they want us to define them that way.

They would have been content with slandering. But giving up this land after forty years in the desert? Not even the spies had thought of that.

As mentioned, there are plenty of slanderers. Just this week, Channel 10 aired an investigation into the "cost of the outposts," which quickly turned into a farce when it was revealed that this was a disrespectful stunt by New Fund-style associations, whose sole purpose is to slander the country, remove the burden of occupation from us, and if possible, along the way, the ultra-Orthodox and the Jewish religion in general - and turn Israel into a state for all its citizens.

Dedication to matters of holiness

Who was destined to die in the desert and not enter the land? The men!

The women were not of the same opinion. They loved the land and did not believe the words of the spies. On the contrary, they believed the words of Joshua and Caleb.

The sending of the people, which was indeed done at the will of Moses, does not contradict faith in God, the Almighty. Because this is exactly what God, the Almighty, wanted to happen when they entered the land, that everything would proceed according to nature and not as it was in the desert, with the plundering of natural systems.

Conquest requires sending spies and gathering intelligence. This is the nature of the world.

In three positive matters, women preceded men, and the words speak for themselves. In giving the Torah (Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel), in the offering of the tabernacle (And every woman of a wise heart spun with her hands... and all the women whom Laban married wisely spun the goats), and in loving the land (Give us a place among our father's brothers).

These three matters are the special privilege of women, through whom the existence of men is also continued. And the proof of this is that in the first and fundamental matter of all - the giving of the Torah, God first prioritized the House of Jacob, and then the Torah was also fulfilled in the Children of Israel.

The women of Israel stood firm in their desire to enter the land, even when they heard about the difficulties. This trait of affection for the land is passed down from generation to generation and from mother to daughter. The Jewish woman's devotion to the Holy Land is an expression of her devotion to all matters of holiness, to the point that sometimes their devotion is much stronger than that of men.

Nehama vs. Sarah

In the week that Yair Lapid managed to find the silver lining between Yitzhar and Ariel, he managed to elect a president to whom the integrity of the country is important. The battle between Sara (Netanyahu) and Nechama (Rivlin) was also decided in favor of the latter, who does her husband's will with modesty and humility. Women. Apparently this is our week.
