Tomorrow - Sivan 11 - will mark exactly 90 years since the laying of the cornerstone for the Bnei Brak settlement, which was founded 90 years ago by a group of authorized Hasidim, led by Rabbi Yitzhak Gershtenkorn zt"l.
On the occasion of the historic event, the municipality launched a new logo for the city. Tomorrow, the municipality of Bnei Brak will also celebrate with a special ceremony in which the guests of honor will be the eminent Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau and Israel Prize laureate Elimelech Firer.
Among the speakers will be the Rabbi Adani, Rabbi Halevi Wasner, Rabbi Zilberstein, and the city rabbi - the Harami'l Landa. Also speaking will be: Hanania Cholak from Ezer M'Zion and Yehuda Marmorstein, chairman of the Aleh.

The area of jurisdiction of Bnei Brak today covers 7088 dunams, compared to 1323 dunams at the time of its establishment.
It borders Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Petah Tikva and Givat Shmuel. The vast majority of the city's area is occupied by residential, industrial and commercial buildings.
Its main development as an urban and industrial settlement began since the establishment of the state. Today it is the tenth largest city in the country, and its population, which numbered 8,000 at the establishment of the state, today reaches 181,364 residents, with its children and young people accounting for over 501% of the total population.
The municipality's budget amounts to approximately 980 million shekels, a significant portion of which is dedicated to building educational institutions, as well as developing and improving the city's appearance.
