""I remember a discussion with a man who was an expert in the teachings of Buddhism," is how Avichai Cohen, an international model, begins the story of his return to Judaism.
""The expert told me, you're making a mistake. The field you're looking for is the field of intellectual knowledge, and religions deal with 'faith.' These are parallel fields that don't meet. Either you believe and you 'connect,' or you know and then you're in a different direction.".
But then the Buddhist stopped his flow of speech and said after reflection: "If you still insist on combining faith and knowledge together, the only text I've heard of that deals with this is Jewish Kabbalah." Cohen says that the man didn't even know he was Jewish, but he began to engage him in a conversation about the basics of Kabbalah.
From there, the former model set out on a journey following the various religions. He found that the various religions were loaded with flaws that undermined their very existence, and full of questions about the characteristics of their continuity: "There were many holes in their defense mechanisms. Additions and manipulations were found in every corner.".
The first time I recognized an orderly structure of form and manner of transmission, of a form of internal and external connection, was in Judaism. Even the occult teachings here, in their foundations, are intertwined with the entire Torah, there are no problems in the puzzle, everything is divine.
